Courses for adults – Exeter

Exeter is the county town of Devon, one of the oldest cities in Britain and is well known for its mild climate. Several times it has also been voted as the British city with the best quality of life. In addition, it has won the titles of «the European city of flowers» or «the city in the countryside» because of the large number of parks and gardens with which it counts.

It is not a big city, but it has everything for everyone. The beach is 20 minutes from the city center and in the evenings there is a great atmosphere.

Cómo llegar a Exeter: It has got its own airport, but it also possible to fly to London Heathrow, where you can catch a low cost flight. From here you can take the public transport, which takes a couple of hours.

Host family: Family stays offer a total immersion in English culture, independence and cozy accommodation.

Our families are carefully selected and live 30 minutes walk from the school.

They offer single rooms on full board basis.

Apartment: Our apartments are located on the same campus as the school. They are shared apartments with 2 or 3 international students.

The apartments have single room, shared bathroom and common areas (a dining room, a living room and a kitchen), all fully equipped. All apartments have free Wi-Fi, bathroom and bed linen.

Students are accommodated on a room only basis, as they prepare their own meals.
There is a laundry service near the apartments.

The English language school in Exeter offers 20 and 28 hours per week of 45 minutes. On the first day of class, the students take a level test and an interview to be placed in the corresponding level.

Teachers use textbooks and supplementary materials that cover the four language skills (oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression) and that expand vocabulary and grammar.
