The city – Galway

Galway, the cultural capital of Ireland, has 66,000 inhabitants and is a privileged city thanks to its location and dynamism. There are many festivals and cultural events throughout the country, especially the Galway Arts Festival, an international festival of music, theater and cinema that keeps the city alive for most of the month of July.
Galway is located on the west coast of Ireland and offers visitors spectacular landscapes such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Connemara Peninsula and the Aran Islands.
 
Getting to Galway:  Galway and Shannon airports are the closest. However, there is usually a stopover because there are only a few direct flights. It is best to fly to Dublin or Cork and from there by train o bus to Galway.
The trip takes approximately two and a quarter hours, but you can take a bus from the same airport from Dublin to Galway.
In addition, you can fly to the KNOCK airport from the following destinations in Spain to the airport: Alicante, Girona, Malaga, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife.

The school, founded in 1989, is the only recognized center an accredited school for the teaching of English as a foreign language.
In addition, it is a member of MEI / RELSA, Ireland West Tourism and the Galway Chamber of Commerce. On the other hand, it has obtained the ISO 9001: 2000 quality certification.
The location of the school is excellent: in front of the ocean and very close to the medieval city of Galway and the romantic Connemara mountains.

This type of accommodation is highly recommended to experience Irish culture and language firsthand. The students are accommodated in individual rooms. Breakfast and dinner are included from Monday to Sunday.
By having a key to the house, the student will have complete freedom to come and go at his leisure.
The school has its own apartments at a very short distance, between 5-15 minutes walking.
There are different types of rooms and accommodation features. Only accommodation, no meals.
The price varies depending on the characteristics.

The classes

The English course for Seniors in Galway is designed to boost the confidence of students in speaking English. This course focuses on spoken English in everyday situations of daily life.
The school offers 20 weekly classes of 45 minutes in the morning: from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 SOCIAL PROGRAM:

The English course for Seniors in Galway includes a very complete and varied package of socio-cultural activities to do during the afternoons.
These activities help to interact with international students and put the language into practice. Most of them have no extra cost and are included in the price.
