Leeds is a city with over 700,000 inhabitants, one of the largest cities in England and famous for its prestigious universities. When visiting, we can enjoy its great offering of shops and its great nocturnal activity.

Leeds is England’s second largest business, financial and legal services center after London. And in the past 10 years, it has experienced the highest growth rate in the UK.

All this makes Leeds a place that offers a large number of job opportunities, business, academic and professional training.

Getting to Leeds: The nearest airport is Leeds-Bradford, which has many direct flights from Spain with low cost airlines such as Ryanair or Jet2.

Leeds is also well connected to other airports such as Manchester, Liverpool and London.

Family stays offer independence in clean, comfortable and cozy accommodation. Tourbel recommends this option for the fast learning of the language that the students experience.

As we are accredited by the British Council, families are inspected regularly to make sure they meet the necessary requirements.

The rooms are single with half board (breakfast and dinner) from Monday to Sunday. In addition, we guarantee a single Spanish student per family.

This residence offers the option of flat sharing with several students. The rooms are individual and each floor has common areas shared by all students on the floor (kitchen, dining room, and bathroom), as well as Internet connection.

There is also a common recreation area with a living room, TV and video games. The residence has a space for storing bicycles and free parking, for those who want to move around the city by bike instead of public transport.

To guarantee security, it has a video surveillance 24/7.

Students have to bring their own bedding and cooking utensils.

Students have single rooms with private bathroom. Each floor has between 4 and 7 rooms. The floors have large kitchens and a dining room, both fully equipped. All rooms have TV and Internet connection. At different points, there are vending machines for snacks and drinks.

To ensure maximum security, there is CCTV and a 24-hour laundry room.

Note: Students staying with family and at the Carr Mills residence must pay a £ 250 deposit which will be returned at the end of the stay if there are no damages.

The English course in Leeds employs dynamic teaching methods. Our teachers carefully plan the lessons so that they are appropriate to the needs, interests and learning styles of their students.

The school is Cambridge exam center, so students who wants to take the B1, B2 or C1 exam can get it during their stay.

The student can study a total of 15 or 21 classes per week. On their arrival it will be necessary to take a leve test to be located in the corresponding group: from beginner to advanced.

Apart from the class hours, the student can work longer hours in the language lab supervised by a teacher.

The course consists of general English in which vocabulary and grammar are worked. Also, there are specific English classes to choose between different options depending on availability.

What else does our school offer?

Our school offers the option to give extra classes for free.

• Students will have the option to take an online course of 100 hours, available for all levels of general English, or preparation of IELTS or FCE, available up to 3 months after finishing their classroom course.
• The school offers an extra class every two Mondays from 15:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., for students from beginner to intermediate level.
• It also offers attendance to the weekly conversation club.
• Develop customized curricula so that each student can focus on their strengths and reinforce them.
• Regular tests, reports and tutorials are produced on the students.

Intensive Course (21 horas):	From 9:00 to 12:15 + from 13:00 to 14:30 h. (from Monday to Thursday)
