The school

Our school was established in 1999 in memory of a Maltese villa close to the sea. It is one of the foundation members of FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organizations of Malta), which is controls the quality of English schools in Malta.

Additionally, our school has been recognized by the Minster of Education of Malta which guaranties the education quality for our students.

When the students arrive at the school, they need to take a placement test in order to be put in the right group corresponding their English level

Our school offers the possibility to hire a nanny for children from 6 to 12 months from 7:30 to 13:00 (min. 2 hours). Request prices below.

Special accommodation for families

Portobello Apartments

Portobello Apartments have apartments for 3 to 5 persons and offer different accommodation options:

Double room in shared apartment for 5 persons
Single room in shared apartment for 3 persons
Apartment for 5 persons with 2 dormitories

As mentioned above, all apartments are totally equipped. Additionally, they have a TV and a balcony with a view over the sea.

The school is only 8 minutes walking distance away and there are shops, bus stops, restaurantes and banks close to the apartments.

The school´s apartments offer different accommodation options:

Apartment with 2 dormitories
Apartment with 3 dormitories

These apartments are also fully equipped and are about 2 minutes walking distance away from the school.

Classes for adults

The schools offers courses with 20 or 30 weekly units (45 min. each).

The English course in Malta covers all different skills to learn a language: Written and oral compression and expression.

Furthermore, the interactive boards make it easier to learn English.

Classes for children (4-17 years)

The courses for children from age 4 to 17 include 17,5 weekly hours (23,5 weekly units) and also work with interactive boards.

There are two different groups divided by age:

Kids club (KC): 4 to 9 years

The smallest ones learn abut basic topics by doing interactive, creative and dynamic exercises.

Teens Club (TC): 10 to 17 years

Our teens improve their English skills by doing exercises concerning written and oral compression and expression, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation but especially by using the language in daily situations.

Additionally, during the whole weeks, the students prepare a project about a topic which they are interested in and present it at the end of the week.

Working in groups and dynamic competitions between students are encouraged.

SOCIAL PROGRAM

Malta offers a lot of different outside activities like different kinds of sport in water (boat rides, scuba diving) but also tours through the city or also bike tours to visit the surroundings. Without doubt, all those activities help to get to know all the other students and to practice the language.

The family program takes place according to the calendar of the children´s programs.
