Brighton

Located on the south coast of the United Kingdom, Brighton  has a population of 250,000. It is considered the best coastal city in England and receives thousands of visits every year.

Students can walk to most of the sites while they contemplate artist neighborhoods, although they can also stroll along its beaches and see its famous pier. Brighton inspires an environment of alternative culture, a perfect place to study and live.

Getting to Brighton: It is located just one hour from London, being thus, London Gatwick airport is the nearest one, but you can also travel to other London airports such as Heathrow, Stansted or Luton.

This school houses a mix of very diverse nationalities with a capacity for 300 students, with a minimum age of 16 years.

The students of the English course in Brighton stay in host families, who have been working with our school for a long time, on a half board basis  (breakfast and dinner) from Monday to Sunday.

Depending on the time of year, there is a different availability of individual or shared rooms.

 Only 15 minutes walk from the school, we have a modern residence Britannia Study Hotel  with individual rooms and own bathroom. The students have a kitchen and dining room for personal use, sharing these spaces with other students.

We also have student houses and flats throughout Brighton. For example, you can take a look at Shared Student House, a shared 6 rooms house for students with.

The English courses in Brighton work the necessary skills in the process of learning a language: comprehension and oral, written and auditory expression.

The 25-30 lessons are interactive, recreating real life situations and focusing on students improving their communication skills.

The objective of the teachers is to provide an adequate balance between techniques, vocabulary and grammar.

TIMETABLE
Semi-intensive course 25 lessons (18.75 hours):	from 9:00 to 12:30 h and  3 evenings from 13:30 to 14:45 h
Intensive course  30 lessons (22.50 hours):	from 9:00 to 12:30 h and evenings from 13:30 to 15:00 h

In summer there is the SUMMER VACATION COURSES program

The program takes place between June 20 and August 19 and consists of a course of 20 English classes per week. The average age is between 16 and 22 years old and students have the option to contract a pack of activities.

This pack includes a daily activity from Monday to Friday and a full day excursion during the weekend. The minimum time to attend this program is two weeks.
