The city – Glasgow

The region of Glasgow, its metropolitan area and the Clyde Valley form one of the most attractive and interesting tourist destinations in Europe, where the energy of the great cosmopolitan city combines with beautiful landscapes of the most spectacular places of Scotland.
Glasgow is an architectural paradise: the reddish and yellowish sandstone of the Victorians, the Italian-style towers and the medieval spiers coexist in harmony with the Neo-Gothic towers, the Mackintosh modernism and the titanium, glass and steel structures of the contemporary city.
Getting to Glasgow: The nearest airport is in Glasgow and there are also good connections to Edinburgh Airport just two hours by train.
