Liverpool is in the North-East of the United Kingdom, more specifically at the river mouth of the river Mersey, one of the most inhabited region of England. A cosmopolitan city which boasts a great cultural variety thanks to its wide range of entertainment and its theaters, cinemas, galleries, museums and pubs.
The essence left by the Beatles around the whole city stands out.
In 2008 Liverpool was the European capital of Culture and in 2004, la Capital Europea de la Cultura y en 2004, various areas of the center were proclaimed World Heritage Sites by UNESCO

The school

Our school where the English course is taught, was founded in 1999 and is located in the center of Liverpool. The school has the accreditation of the British Council; it is also a member of English UK and of English UK North; It has also the privilege of being the only school in Liverpool that belongs to Quality English.
There are modern classrooms, a study area, free internet access and a garden courtyard where you can relax and socialize.
It is located just 5 minutes from the university district and is surrounded by bars, nightclubs, shops, tourist attractions and the University of Liverpool.

Dates of the program: It is possible de participate in the program from the 1 of July to the 21 of July. The minimum time of participation is of 2 weeks and the maximum is of 4 weeks.

Age: Between 13 and 17 years.

Accomodation

There are two types of accodomodation in Liverpool.

Host family: The students are accommodated in a shared room with a member of the family or with another foreign student. The breakfast and the dinner are included from Monday to Sunday.

Residence: The students are accommodated in single rooms with a private bath. They have breakfast and dinner at the residence and lunch at the school.

The residence is just 20 minutes away walking from the school or 10 minutes away by bus. The bus car is included in the price of the program.

  • The school supervises the residence the whole day.
  • If you share a room, it is not possible to guarantee that you share it with a student from another nationality.
  • The meals : breakfast in the residence, packed lunch and dinner with a hot meal in the dinning room of the school.

Classes

Our English course in Liverpool consists of 15 hours weeky classes in the morning from 9am to 12:15pm, with a break in-between.
The teachers focused particulary in conversation and in strengthening the use of the language in daily situations.

Social program:

The activities of our English class in Liverpool are taking place in the afternoon and are coordinated by the teachers or the supervisors of the school, which create a complicity between them and the students.
The students who take part in the program English+ Football have 9 hours weekly of training with qualified staff. They also have tours of the Anfield stadium and museum. The students which participate in this program have to bring their own outfits for the practice.
We also offer to students a program English+ Dance where you will find a lot of international students who like to dance and be fit. There is a variety of dance styles from which one can choose: salsa, ballet,hip hop and much more
The program English+ Digital is directed to those interested in technology and would like to get to know how to shape a blog or a web-page.
