The city – York

York is one of the most beautiful small towns in the north of England. It is one of the oldest medieval cities in all of Great Britain. In fact, it was the second most important city of those times.
Today you can see the medieval boom of York by visiting its imposing large Gothic cathedral. Its streets still maintain a medieval atmosphere, as well as Roman vestiges like its wall of almost 5 km.
Getting to York: The closest airport to the city is Leeds-Bradford. There are many direct flights from Spain to Leeds-Bradford with low cost airlines such as Ryanair or Jet2. From there, you can catch a train or a bus to get to York.
Note: The transfer from Leeds or Manchester airport is included in the price, but only within the established schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. An extra fee of 400€  will be applied if the arrival time or distination is different from th beforementioned ones.
